McCarty Student Center – In 1963, the estate of Tom and Lillie McCarty provided the necessary funds to build a building adjacent to the campus of what was then known as Southwest Texas State College. Since then, the McCarty Student Center has been the home of Bobcats for Christ. McCarty seeks to be a “home away from home” for Texas State Students, providing a convenient place to:
- Hang out with other Christians
- Study for classes
- Study the Bible
- Watch our big screen TV
- Play pool, ping pong, air hockey, or video games in our game room
- Do homework in our computer lab or using your laptop and our wireless network
The McCarty Student Center is located at 506 N. Guadalupe St. It is directly across the street from the Texas State University Undergraduate Admissions Building. Stop by anytime and see the place that BFC calls home.
